Fern Dangles - Posts or Drops

I’ve always loved ferns. They create an almost magical environment on the forest floor.
The ferns that swing from the gemstone were modeled after ferns growing near my house. I collected and dried them before selecting the size most suitable for earring. Then a rubbing was made to get the outline of the ferns which then transferred to the sterling silver. They were pierced, refined, scribed and soldered before adding them to the gemstones. Now you can wear ferns on your ears.

Hand fabricated out of sterling and fine silver.
